We are a not for profit Essex based poker society with our own dedicated premises. The emphais is on enjoying social evenings and a game of poker. New players are welcome.

This is not online poker, this is live poker, a completely different experience. This is not poker in the pub, we have a gaming license and this is run strictly in accordance with the gaming act. Yes we are legal, unlike most others !!!!!!

Tournaments start at 8.00pm sharp and we allow late landings to join in up to 9.30pm see the "sorties" for our next engagement. Arrivals after this time will not be permitted. We try to wind things up by 1.00 am

Above all the emphasis is on enjoyment and entertainment. A finger buffet is provided for all during the evening and we have free hot drinks and cold drinks on sale.

We have all casino quality equipment, Sky TV and internet access.

If you are tired of sitting infront of the computer playing online poker then this is for you. Tired of those online poker loonies and the bad beats? Then come and meet some live poker lunatics and then the bad beats are much worse and more personal.

A sense of humour and good sportsmanship are essential. Table talk is mandatory for the banter is as enjoyable as the game itself ! However, the game is serious and we have some excellent players who will gladly advise upon and discuss hands as well as out and out gamblers and novices.

 The mix all adds to the fun !!
